Hi Chris, Great tour! I was at EGS from 86-93 and looking back at the old place brought back some great memories! Could you fix the broken link to the swimming pool as I can't remember what it looks like in there! Also, can't believe the "Top Bogs" are no longer outside - much more dangerous to have a sly cigarette in there now I imagine! A passtime which also meant I was familiar with the inside of the Head's office. (D.M. Buckroyd in those days).

Only attended EGS for a couple of years before emigrating to Canada in 1957. Many fond memories including rugby afternoons and Grubby our Maths teacher. Let's hear it for the house of Craven and the Barlick Spud.

I was at Ermysteds from 1961 to 1969. There are not many changes to the old place in 40 years.I have not been past for about 5 years. I live near Hull. I shall keep looking in the future. Cheers Rick

Glad to hear it.... there have been even bigger changes since this tour was made. No boarders since the late 80's/early 90's. Former boarders dorms are now the art dept, which is only partly covered in the tour if I recall correctly.

Hi I was in School House from 1949 to 1953 your tour brought back many memories. There have been many changes since my day but there is still a lot of the old school recogniseable. Does the school still take boarders? I notice that their kitchen has been taken over.

I was at Ermysteds between 1958/1962 the tour shows very little change and brought back memories of a great school and i have been very grateful for the education i received at Skipton Grammar School

Hi, I was there from 1960 to 1967. I see I'm not the only one to be surprised at how little has changed apart from the new building opposite the canteen. Will keep looking and exploring. Regards, Kevin O'Connell

Hi! I was at Ermysteds from 1964 to 1971. I've just taken the virtual tour and am amazed to see it appears to have hardly changed, externally at least. The most obvious change is the large block opposite the canteen. I also see that the toilet block below the canteen is now attached - it used to be "outside". Other than that, I can't spot any other changes!! Anyway, it brought back a lot of memories. Many thanks Alan.
